Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance?

We are in-network with select plans and accept HSA/FSA. If we are out-of-network, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer. A Good Faith Estimate for self-pay is available upon request.

How long does the program take?

Most clients complete the primary track in 8–12 weeks, then taper (e.g., biweekly) to consolidate gains. Length can vary based on goals, symptom severity, and life events.

Is this a forensic service?

No. We are clinical treatment only. We do not conduct custody evaluations, provide parental-fitness opinions, or offer courtroom testimony. With your written consent, we can share brief, need-to-know updates (attendance/progress) with your attorney.

What outcomes can I expect?

Clients typically report lower day-to-day overwhelm, clearer decision-making, and calmer exchanges within the first 4–6 weeks. Parents often see steadier routines and improved child coping. Individual results vary.

How soon can I be seen?

We respond to new inquiries within 24–48 hours. Intakes are typically scheduled within 3–5 business days, as capacity allows.

What happens in sessions?

Sessions are structured and goal-focused. We use evidence-based approaches (e.g., CBT/ACT, brief grief work) and deliver practical tools: nervous-system regulation, sleep/routine optimization, boundary scripts, and decision frameworks.

You’ll receive short take-home practices between sessions.

Do you offer co-parenting counseling?

Yes. We provide skills-based, non-forensic co-parenting counseling: communication protocols (BIFF-style), conflict de-escalation, transition routines, and decision pathways for common scenarios (medical, school, travel, holidays). We match the model (parallel vs. cooperative) to your needs.

Can you work with my child?

Yes. Child and adolescent support is available through our dedicated child psychologist. We offer developmentally attuned therapy, school collaboration, and parent coaching. We help you decide whether child sessions, parent-only work, or both are indicated.

Do both parents need to consent for a child to receive services?

We follow applicable laws, ethical guidelines, and the terms of your parenting plan. We will review your legal custody documents during intake to determine any consent requirements and share options accordingly.

What if joint sessions are too tense right now?

We can begin with individual parent sessions to stabilize and set goals, then transition to joint work when appropriate. Safety, readiness, and child-centered progress guide pacing.

Do you coordinate with schools or pediatricians?

When helpful—and only with your written authorization—we can provide brief updates or collaborate on school routines and accommodations.

Will you speak with my attorney?

With your consent, yes—limited to essentials (engagement/attendance and general progress toward stabilization). We do not opine on custody and do not provide forensic reports.

What should I bring to the first session?

A prioritized list of goals, relevant legal documents (e.g., parenting plan), current medication list, and your calendar to schedule follow-ups. If child services are involved, bring recent school notes or teacher feedback if available.

What are your fees and cancellation policy?

We will review fees during your consult. Cancellations with <24 hours’ notice may incur a late-cancel fee. Self-pay clients receive a Good Faith Estimate upon request.

Is telehealth available?

Yes—secure telehealth is available across Florida. In-person sessions are offered in Boca Raton. We can combine formats as clinically appropriate.

Is this an emergency service?

No. We do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

How do I get started?
To request a consult vi or call (561) 445-4787. We will respond within 24–48 hours with the next steps.
